I had the pleasure of visiting North Carolina this August and my entire trip revolved around the television show, One Tree Hill. I was obsessed with this show in high school and college. Never in a million years did I ever think I would fly to NC years later for a One Tree Hill convention and visit the locations where the show had filmed.
Since I didn’t have a vehicle to browse locations when I was visiting, I took a $35 tour called Tree Hill Tours. As of now, they only do these tours around the convention dates (next one is in March 2016). It’s a 3 hour tour that takes you to the popular filming locations from the show. The first 2.5 hours are driving around in a van and the last 30 minutes are walking downtown. It was the best $35 I have ever spent (I plan on having another blog post from this tour about the other locations including the infamous Rivercourt and bridge from the theme song).
The first home that we visited was Brooke Davis’ (Sophia Bush). Out of all the houses, this was the most surreal. It was beautiful in person. We were told the owner of the home knew we were coming and would give us lemonade if we donated for a cause. She was so sweet! She allowed us to take pictures on the main steps which was very nice of her.

Next to Brooke’s house was the home of Felix (Michael Copon) and Anna (Daniella Alonso). The day before, the owners brought out a script signed by the entire cast to show everyone on the tour. So neat!

The last home we saw was Haley James’ (Bethany Joy Lenz) which was next to Peyton’s. This was Haley’s home in season 1. Fun fact, it’s also featured on the TV show, Under the Dome.
